Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films typically horror films and martial arts. She is similar the character of The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. After gaining some fame through the channels on Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa), she began to write reviews in late 2009. She remained on the site until mid-2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was revamped to Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Following her rise to fame on the Channel Awesome forums, she was invited into the Reviewer family. She's been featured in numerous Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. The actress was member in Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker She would also be seen on numerous episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
